Zucchini-An American originated summer squash is also known as courgette. This vegetable (Botanically a fruit) is from cucumber and melon family and for a number of reasons good for our health. Featuring tender and smooth skin, small edible seeds, crunchy flesh and high moisture content, it is a very low calorie, low sugar and carb food with high content of potassium, antioxidants, and vitamins.
